The Akamai Foundation is an American non-profit organization that sponsors mathematics competitions. It was founded and it is supported financially by Akamai Technologies.
The foundation awards annual scholarships to the winners of the high school competition, the United States of America Mathematical Olympiad,[1] makes awards for specific school mathematics education projects [2], and sponsors a "Magic of Math" program aimed at younger students.
